Brookside Cottage is located in the village of Little Stretton, just a mile from Church Stretton. It has a large garden next to a small fast flowing stream. The village has two pubs and access to many walks, including Ashes Valley. The 400year old cottage has two reception rooms and three bedrooms, which sleep six persons. Interior layout

Downstairs: entering into the cottage kitchen from the garden, leads you to the dining room (with door out to parking), onwards to the living room (with another door out to the garden) and finally into the bathroom/WC.

Kitchen: Fitted units with integrated oven and hob and standalone fridge/freezer and microwave. Door out into the garden.

Dining Room: Large room with table seating 6+. Also washing machine is in this room. Door out to back of cottage/parking area.

Living Room: Living room with comfy seating, TV (using Wi-Fi for reception), open fire and door to garden.

Bathroom leading to separate WC : bathroom contains power shower over bath and washbasin.

Upstairs: Bedroom one contains a 5ft kingsize bed with views onto the garden. Bedroom 2 contains two singles with views onto the garden and provides access to bedroom three also with two singles and views onto the stream outside.

Exterior

The 400 year old "Black and White" property sits alongside a small stream in approx. 1/4 acre of gardens. The gardens look out onto fields and the Ragleth hill. The shed contains sporting equipment to use in the gardens along with chairs and table

There is parking next to the property, which is accessed by fording the small stream. Under some conditions this area may not be accessible (too much water in stream or too muddy). In these cases there is free parking up the road, 40m away.

The village of Little Stretton, nested in the heart of the Shopshire Hills is just a mile from Church Stretton. The village has two pubs and there are many walks or cycle trails from the door up onto the Long Mynd, there is also easy close access to Cardingmill Valley, the Ragleth Hill and Caer Caradoc to name a few.

Church Stretton is only a mile away for shopping, supermarket, play tennis, bowls, crazy golf, BMX track and playground, swimming pool (limited opening) or a mooch around the shops – mostly independent retailers and the BIG antique shop!!
